Aegate security management system achieves ISO 27001

Aegate are delighted to have been awarded this prestigious international standard having spent the past 18 months implementing ISO level security practices and procedures right across its business.

Business continuity and contingency plans, data back-up procedures, avoidance of viruses and hackers, access control to systems and information security incident reporting are fundamental to this policy.

Commenting on this achievement, Gary Noon CEO Aegate said "Robust information security procedures are an essential part of the authentication business which we take extremely seriously. We are delighted to have achieved this internationally recognised standard which is a great reflection of the quality of our staff who have implemented this".

Under ISO, Aegate will follow a process of continuous improvement with annual external audits taking place to ensure the standard is maintained. Aegate's authentication system is also open to periodic audit by any national pharmacy association which utilises its services.
